About Charles Christopher
Born and raised in New York City, Charles Christopher is a self-taught photographer, who has specialized in on set movie and TV stills, architecture, interiors, portraits, travel, and anything else that requires an illuminating eye. Clients include MTV, Universal Pictures, Lifetime, Hallmark, E! and NBC.
His first book of photography, Dream of Venice - a visual tribute to the strange floating city, accompanied by original texts from a diverse group of Venetophiles, including actress Julie Christie, Woody Allen, director Nicolas Roeg, and opera legend Sylvia Sass - sold out but can still be found on Amazon.
In October 2012, two of CC's photographs were chosen by renowned L.A. interior designer Trip Haenisch for inclusion in The Hollywood Reporter's first ever design showhouse at the The Century condominium in Century City. "Design Hollywood" was covered in a special issue of The Hollywood Reporter.
CC has exhibited in group shows at Gallery 825, Hale Arts Space, The Loft at Liz's, and TAG Gallery in Los Angeles, and at the Arc Gallery in San Francisco.
CC enjoys the challenge of capturing ordinary mysteries with his camera.
