This is a very subtle image, but there is a lot going on. I see a proper woman, walking with a purpose, down some stairs. Her placement in the image, to the right of the frame, tells me she is going FROM someplace, not so much TO someplace. The log, wired to the railing, seems to be for support, and one assumes it is a slap-dash do-it-yourself repair. This implies the stairs are more private than public, perhaps leading from her home. Lighting, exposure, composition, this image has it all. AND it tells a story. Nicely done!
